Fans of FamilyMart will be pleased to know that the ever popular Japanese convenience store chain has opened its first outlet here in Malaysia!
FamilyMart is finally here, after months of anticipation since the announcement was made earlier this year that the convenience store chain was going to expand its business to our country.
The pilot store is situated at Wisma Lim Foo Yong in Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.
"Huh, but why is everyone so excited over the opening of a convenience store?"
FamilyMart is extremely famous in countries like Japan, South Korea and Taiwan and it is known for its hot food.
Locals and tourists alike would flock to FamilyMart outlets to get basic grocery items, drinks, and food on-the-go such as onigiri (rice balls) and bento (packed rice).
