Here's How You Can Apply To Walk The Runway At KL Fashion Week 2022
You don't need prior modelling experience, or an elaborate portfolio either.

KL Fashion Week (KLFW) 2022 is looking for fresh faces to walk the runway this year, and you could be the next model to strut your stuff at the event!
Aspiring models and catwalk connoisseurs — it's your time to shine!
Partnering with one of their sponsors, KLFW is collaborating with SAMSUNG Malaysia in their search for fresh faces and fierce walks to join "The Perfect 10 Model Search 2022."
According to the application, no experience or expensive portfolios are required, simply completing the form and introducing yourself will be enough.
The application is open to Malaysians and non-Malaysians between the ages of 18 and 30, with photo requirements being part of the process
Besides providing personal details and contact information, individuals who are currently represented by modelling agencies are required to list contact information of their respective channel(s). Models who are represented by agencies must attain their consent before applying.
Furthermore, other standardised measurements will need to be provided. This includes height, waist measurement, hip measurement, chest measurement, shoe size, eye colour, and hair colour.
A crucial requirement however, are the photo submission requirements.
Each applicant will need to submit a total of six images — a full length photo, a waist up photo, a close up photo, two profile shots (from the left side and right side respectively), and a smiling profile shot.
All the photos are required to be shot outside in natural daylight, though not under direct sunlight. Applicants must not have any makeup on, and for those with long hair, wear your hair down. Additionally, a dress code is in place for all applicants in regards to their respective gender. They are:
Male: Plain-coloured fitted top or singlet, and form-fitted jeans.
Female: Plain-coloured fitted top with fitted leggings or jeans, and heels.

After sending in your application, candidates will need to attend an in-person casting call to showcase their walk and personality
Once a valid submission has been made (sufficiently filling every criteria in the application), applicants should receive a confirmation email within three working days.
Confirmed applicants will then attend a casting call at W Kuala Lumpur in Jalan Ampang on 30 July. Requirements are also in place for all attendees, which include wearing light or natural-looking makeup with hair worn down, and adhering to the dress code (which is the same as the photo guidelines stipulated above).
There, participants will be judged by an independent panel of selected judges, a panel of fashion industry experts, and the founder of KLFW himself, Andrew Tan.
In the end, a lucky total of 10 winners will be selected to walk the runway at KLFW 2022 as part of a special pre-presentation.
The winners of the challenges will also stand a chance to win exclusive prizes by the sponsors of KLFW, which include a one-night stay at the W KL.
