Gamuda Cove Is Expanding! From 5,000 New Homes To A Cyberjaya Link, Here's What To Expect
The township adds homes, eco-gems, and faster links to Cyberjaya.
Gamuda Land has just secured a 336-acre plot right next to Gamuda Cove, priced at RM248.7 million
This newly acquired land sits at the southern tip of the township and opens up more room to grow. Sandwiched between the Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands and the ELITE Highway, it gives the township a new southern gateway and lets Gamuda Land tap into existing infrastructure and nature-rich surroundings.
With most of the current landed homes in Gamuda Cove sold out, this expansion brings much-needed supply
The company plans to introduce a new wave of landed residential properties, designed for modern living in a sustainable, master-planned setting. Accessibility will also get a boost, thanks to upcoming routes via Jalan Dengkil–Banting/Bangi that will make the area even more attractive to homebuyers.
Gamuda Land says it's building on a proven track record and the numbers back it up
"This strategic land acquisition is a continuation of the success we have achieved with Gamuda Cove. Our proven track record in creating sustainable, thriving communities has been demonstrated by the strong uptake of our landed properties, with an average of over 90% sold since 2019.
"This expansion not only reinforces our commitment to delivering quality homes but also allows us to enhance the overall vibrancy of the township, ensuring it remains a sought-after destination for both residents and investors," said Chu Wai Lune, Chief Executive Officer of Gamuda Land.
Over 5,000 homes will be delivered by 2026, setting the stage for serious commercial growth
That growing population will fuel retail and business activity in the township, especially at Townsquare and the upcoming Cove Centrum retail hub. Gamuda Land is also introducing more attractions, from eco-tourism at the Wetlands Arboretum to a new lifestyle hotel, ASAI Gamuda Cove, coming in 2026 through a partnership with Dusit International.
A new toll-free interchange to Cyberjaya is on the way, cutting commute times to under 15 minutes
Set to open in August 2025, the interchange will connect Gamuda Cove directly to Cyberjaya and link seamlessly to major highways including ELITE, MEX, and SKVE, putting the township in a sweet spot for accessibility.
Sustainability remains a key part of Gamuda Land's masterplan for the expanded township
Future developments will embrace biophilic architecture and low-carbon building methods to reduce environmental impact and enhance liveability. This land acquisition is part of Gamuda Land's broader vision, which includes RM10.5 billion in investments over five years across Malaysia, Vietnam, and the UK, with a projected GDV of RM26 billion.
