Depending on where you live in Malaysia, the first week of June 2025 is packed with public holidays, offering an excellent opportunity to plan a longer break

To begin, the Assistant Secretary of the Conference of Rulers, Datuk Mohd Aseral Jusman, announced last night, 27 May, that the Islamic month of Zulhijjah will begin on Thursday, 29 May, reported the New Straits Times.

This means that Hari Arafah and Hari Raya Haji, the ninth and tenth days of Zulhijjah, sacred holidays in the Islamic calendar, will fall on 6 and 7 June, respectively.
