1. Feed fluffy sheep at The Sheep Sanctuary

For less than RM8, you can meet and feed adorable sheep at this sheep sanctuary in Kea Farm, Tanah Rata.

The sheep on site arrived all the way from Australia. Just remember to be gentle with these timid creatures!

Entrance fee:
Adult – RM8
Children (ages 4 to 12 years old) – RM4
The entrance fee also includes a small box of food for you to feed the sheep.

2. Reminisce over memorabilia, artefacts, and collectibles at the Time Tunnel Museum

Take a trip to the past at this museum in Cameron Highlands that has a vast array of knick-knacks from decades ago, such as old MILO tins, flasks, clocks, kopitiam items, and more.

The museum was opened in 2007 by founder See Kok Shan who has a passion for collecting old things between the '60s and '90s era, especially items that were part of Cameron Highland's history.

3. Indulge in yummy, crispy crêpes at Yong Teng Café

Run by an elderly OKU couple in a food court in Tanah Rata is this humble eatery called Yong Teng Café that's worth visiting for a homey meal.

They are most famous for their tasty crêpes, but they do serve other dishes as well, including nasi lemak, chee cheong fun, chicken chop, and mee siam.

4. Take a stroll through Cameron Highlands Flora Park

Gawk over the gorgeous sea of flowers at Cameron Highlands Flora Park. It's like stepping into a beautiful postcard or a garden in Bridgerton. You will be required to park your car at the designated carpark lot and a 4x4 vehicle will then shuttle you to the park.

Some say that the best time to visit is in the morning on a weekday to avoid the crowd and to get the best lighting for photos! There are several cafes within the park where you can chill.

You can even book a picnic package with a cosy set up that includes shuttle transportation, tea, waffles, croissants, and ice cream for two from RM280 onwards.

5. Chill at Lata Iskandar or Robinson waterfalls

If you love being with nature, add Lata Iskandar or Robinson waterfalls to your itinerary for a cool and refreshing stop during your trip!

Lata Iskandar is located on the way up to Cameron Highlands, while Robinson waterfall is about a 40-minute drive from Tanah Rata. Both sites are said to have short hikes from the parking lots to the waterfalls.

6. See colourful, fluttering butterflies at the Butterfly Farm

If you're in Cameron Highlands with young kids, check out this Butterfly Farm that's also a mini zoo with several animals and reptiles like geese, ducks, turkeys, peacocks, a kangaroo, a wallaby, and more.

7. Eat lavender ice cream from Lavender Garden

Lavender Garden is a small garden in Tringkap with gorgeous purple blooms. However, the place is also said to have a variety of other flowers, such as Japanese roses, morning glory, hydrangea, and daisies. You can grab a cone of its homemade lavender ice cream on your way out!

8. Get morning produce and fresh snacks from Kea Farm Market

No Cameron Highlands trip is complete without buying back some fresh corn, sweet potatoes, or veggies. Kea Farm Market has all of these, as well as plants, fruits, and flowers that are all grown in Cameron Highlands itself.

9. Sip on a cup of tea and take in the scenery at BOH Sungei Palas Café

There are several tea plantations in Cameron Highlands but one popular, must-visit spot is the BOH Sungei Palas Café, which allows you to enjoy a hot cup of tea while you overlook a scenic view of the BOH tea plantation.

It has an indoor and outdoor seating deck, but just be prepared for a bit of a crowd on most days. Other tea plantations you can check out are Kuala Terla Tea Plantation, Cameron Valley Tea House KT, and Bharat Tea Plantations.

10. Adopt a cute cactus from Cactus Valley

Featuring a large collection of cacti in all shapes and sizes, Cactus Valley is a must-visit for plant lovers or those who just love taking photos. Take note that there are a few stairs as the place is nestled on a slope in Brinchang. Most of the cacti are for sale, so you can buy one on your way out as a little souvenir!

11. Enjoy a refreshing glass of fresh strawberry juice at Cameron Highlands Golf Club café

Situated opposite Cameron Highlands Resort is Kelab Golf Sultan Ahmad Shah with a café known as Golfers Café tucked within. You can enjoy a meal here or order a fresh strawberry juice while taking in a spectacular view of the golf course.
