Here's A Step-By-Step Guide On How To Renew Your Road Tax Online

If your road tax is expiring soon, you can get it renewed with just a few clicks from the comfort of your home

Without the hassle of driving out to a Jabatan Pengankutan Jalan (JPJ) office or MyEG office, this is a more convenient method that doesn't require you to deal with traffic or parking.

Here's how you can renew your road tax online:

Step one: Visit the MyEG website. Click on 'Check & Pay Road Tax'.

Step two: You will be directed to the page below. Click on 'Renew Road Tax'.

Step three: If you have an account, log in. Otherwise, register for an account and sign in.

Step four: Select the type of vehicle that you are renewing the road tax for — car or motorcycle

Step five: Fill in your details and click 'Proceed'

Ensure that all of your details are correct before clicking 'Proceed'.

Delivery charges are RM6 to anywhere in Klang Valley and RM8 to anywhere else in Peninsular Malaysia. You will receive it within two to five working days. If you are in Sabah and Sarawak, it costs RM10 and will be delivered to you within five working days.

If you need your road tax urgently in Klang Valley, you can select the priority delivery option for RM20. You should receive your renewed road tax within the next working day.
