To celebrate Hari Kebangsaan and Malaysia Day, Malaysia's biggest media company, Media Prima Berhad, will be releasing a short comedy film series
Titled 3 Sekawan, it explores the question of what happens when a group of kids take the meaning of 'freedom' and 'Merdeka' a little too literally.

Based on true events, the short film series follows three childhood friends — Faiz, Ah Chong and Danush — as they get together at their kampung to celebrate Hari Kebangsaan
After hatching a huge mischievous plan that could mean freedom for everything, once and for all, chaos descends on the kampung as the three boys scramble to put everything right in time for the big day.
What's their secret plan all about? Will they succeed in fixing everything? You gotta watch to find out, and trust us, you won't wanna miss it!
3 Sekawan stars some of Malaysia's most well-known actors, including Dato' Rahim Razali, Kazar Saisi, Redza Rosli, Sherry Ibrahim, and Mandy Chong, to name a few
The four-part mini series is part of Media Prima Berhad's #BebasBersama campaign, which aims to educate, remind, and inspire Malaysians, especially the younger generation, about the sacrifices made by our local heroes for our country's freedom and independence.
