[PHOTOS] Take A Look At The Incredible Hospital Food This New Mum Was Fed In Japan

While hospitals offer life-saving treatments, not all of them serve comfort food that pleases the palate

However, it's a whole different story in Japan.

Recently, a woman who gave birth in a hospital in Japan shared photos of the 12 meals she was served during her stay in the maternity ward.

It's beautifully presented and looks absolutely delectable!

1.

Omuraisu, macaroni salad, chicken soup, squid rings, fruit, green tea.

Omuraisu is an omelette made with fried rice and topped with ketchup.

2.

Salmon with mushroom sauce, soba noodles, rice, eggplant and beef, broccoli, hijiki salad.

3.

Sea bream, pasta salad, chicken meatballs, pickled daikon, rice, miso soup, chawan mushi, green tea.

4.

Chicken fingers with shredded cabbage salad, bitter melon stir fry, agedashi tofu, carrot salad, rice, miso soup.

5.

Mackerel, konbu salad, natto, spinach salad, miso soup, rice, milk, green tea.

6.

Mushroom pasta, potato salad, broccoli and bacon salad, chicken soup, fruit, bread, green tea.

Cod, shredded cabbage salad, pasta salad, sweet potato and peas, rice, green tea.

Final "Oiwai (Celebration) Dinner": Camembert and raisins, roast beef, mashed potatoes, kabocha, lotus root with gravy, corn soup, rice, salad, tiramisu, fruit, orange juice, green tea.

The woman said that the hospital posted all the calories every day so she could see how much she was eating

"I think they were overfeeding us rather than underfeeding, probably to help with recovery and give us options not to eat parts of foods we don't like, etc."

Makes you wanna move to Japan, right? ;)
