Woman Fries An Egg Under The Sun Just To Show How Hot It Is In Malaysia

A woman in Sabah has gone viral for frying an egg outdoors under the sun to prove how hot the current weather is
In a Facebook post, Fatasha Nadia shared that she tried the experiment at home in Kampung Bukau, Beaufort on Friday, 12 May.
According to her phone's weather app, the temperature was 36°C that day, but felt like 46°C.
According to the US National Weather Service, an apparent temperature of 46°C is considered dangerous, and prolonged exposure may lead to cramps, exhaustion, and even heatstroke.
Like a true researcher, she documented the process with photos and specific timings
At 1pm, Fatasha first heated up some cooking oil in a metal bowl under the sun.
Then, 10 minutes later, she cracked an egg into the bowl and waited.
During her first check at 1.20pm, after merely 10 minutes, she saw that the egg white had already begun to coagulate
Thirty minutes later, the egg white solidified further and the egg yolk also started to cook.
At 2.15pm, the egg actually looked almost done.
By 3.30pm, Fatasha ended the experiment because she wanted to watch TV
She shared that she wanted to watch a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) match being played at the 2023 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games live.
However, from her last photo, you could say that she managed to fry an egg under the sun in two hours, taking sunny side up to a whole new level.
Fatasha's post has since gone viral, garnering shares and comments from thousands of amused Malaysians affected by the same sweltering heat
"It's beyond hot, she did the experiment that I've always felt like trying," said a Facebook user.
"If an egg can cook [in this heat], what more you?" joked a netizen while tagging a friend.
Meanwhile, another suggested to Fatasha, "If you kept the egg there for a little while more, it could have turned crispy."
