In an ever-evolving world that has shifted since the COVID-19 pandemic, all of us have needed to adapt to various kinds of working conditions at home

One Singaporean couple, however, seem to have made quite a stir on TikTok, after a screen-recorded video caught the wife trying her best to not inconvenience her husband.

Posted on the TikTok account @shutzyy, the 22-second feature shows the wife in question, who goes by Shu Zhen, shimmying her way in the background of her husband's important work video call.

In a caption of the same video posted to her Instagram account, Shu Zhen wrote, "Mike had a call with his client that morning and I had to leave home while he was presenting. I wanted to get my Apple Watch, which was left charging on the other side of the table.

"I contemplated for awhile on what to do, I saw from his screen that it could only see the upper half of him, so I decided to crawl to retrieve my watch."

After the meeting, Shu Zhen stated how Mike texted her to say he was horrified, as it was obvious that her crawling was visible in the video.

"I didn't believe how obvious it was because he tends to over exaggerate, and [I] requested to see the video evidence. When I watched this footage, I died!" she wrote with laughter.

With her head popping up at the beginning of the video, the element of humour is enhanced when Mike can be seen stuttering over Shu Zhen slowly manoeuvring her way on the floor.

Garnering over 600,000 views and almost 30,000 likes on TikTok, many people took to the comments section to express their amusement over the clip

A couple of people alluded to Mike's momentary reaction as one of the funniest parts of the video.

"The three "uhms", he was fighting for his life!" said one user.

A multitude of comments praised Mike for being able to keep a straight face, saying how they would've (and did) burst out laughing over Shu Zhen's crawl.

"His self-control is top notch! I would have laughed so badly, no matter how important the call was," said another user.

However, one of the funniest comments of the lot was a user who asked Shu Zhen to play the Mission Impossible music in the background...

... to which she did! And has since uploaded it to her TikTok account just a few days ago.

In a brief conversation with SAYS, Shu Zhen said that she and Mike just got married last Monday

"So I did this boo-boo in the first week of being his wife," she said to this SAYS writer.

Functioning as a professional makeup artist, Shu Zhen is currently working full-time in her company, @canvaseety, doing bridal hair and makeup. Nonetheless, she was also forthright about never having to go through this much to retrieve her Apple Watch.

"I've NEVER crawled before, that was the first time it ever happened and got caught on video hahaha."
