Cop Lauded For Giving Elderly Mak Cik A Ride To Her Destination On His Police Motorcycle

Malaysians are lauding a traffic cop for going above and beyond his call of duty to help an elderly mak cik get to her destination in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on 6 January
A video of constable Zulhairie Nayan helping the elderly woman was uploaded on Facebook by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) yesterday, 17 January.
In the 28-second video, the elderly woman can be seen dismounting Zulhairie's police motorcycle while holding onto his arm.
The constable then extends his arm to provide additional support to the woman, who appears to be struggling to maintain her balance after getting off the motorcycle.
The traffic police officer takes one last glance at the woman to ensure her safety before leaving the scene.
PDRM said that the video was captured near Masjid Muhammadi.
At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 127,000 views and 5,100 likes
"Thank you for your service and your kind-hearted act. Respect and salute," wrote a netizen.
"May Allah multiply the reward and sustenance for this PDRM officer, and may the affairs of this grandmother be eased by Allah," added another.
One Facebook user said, "Congratulations. You are a police officer with a loving soul."
