Twin Brothers Switch Passports & Successfully Surpass Airport Security To Board Flight
Another set of twins revealed that they have been able to do the same too.

Primarily creating videos that showcase their fashion styles, the duo have also showed off their dance skills on the platform. However, a recent TikTok of the brothers at an airport has been making waves online.
Before boarding a flight, the brothers stitched together a clip by fellow twins and social media influencers, William and Henry Wade. In that TikTok, the Wades switched passports and attempted to get past an airport boarding gate.
Inspired by that TikTok, Jamil and Jamel decide to try the trick themselves, switching their passports and seeing if they could make it past the boarding gate with the other person's identity.
Initially, everything seemed to go smoothly, until they discovered that one part of the system required a fingerprint scan
Although they were nervous, thinking that they may be caught for their cheeky antics, both brothers successfully pass the boarding gate without any issue.
Utterly shocked by the matter, the twins return their passports to each other before wondering whether they had the same fingerprint.
Garnering a massive response online, the clip has received over three million views and over 160,000 likes at the time of writing
A couple of individuals were sceptical of the incident, saying that it would be impossible for any two people, including twins, to have the same fingerprint.
Another user even joked about how she fears carrying a metal nail file with her at an airport while the Neffati brothers were able to pull this off.
However, one user suggested that airports do not actually check one's fingerprints to see if it's a match at the boarding counter, but merely records it in their database.
Sharing their own experiences, other twins detailed their personal stories of fooling other individuals. From opening each others' phones using the facial recognition feature to posing as each other in different school classes, one duo even revealed that they share a drivers licence.
One of the most astounding instances came from a user who explained how a similar situation took place between her brother and father.
"That's funny, my dad accidentally took my brother's passport once. He only realised [it] on his trip back home," she shared.
After doing some sleuthing, we discovered that the user who stated that fingerprints are merely recorded at the airport may be accurate in their reasoning
According to a write-up by scientific research website ScienceDirect, the form of biometric technology used at airports is an identification system used to record a traveller's identity upon their entry or exit into a country.
However, there is no stipulation that the record is tied to one's actual DNA.
Furthermore, in the Wade brothers' TikTok, they were also able to pass the airport security system to board a flight.
