A unique friendship has blossomed between an unexpected pair – a young Thai farmer and his water buffalo
On 11 November, 34-year-old Surat Paeowgate posted cheeky selfies he took with his water buffalo that have since gone viral garnering over 31,000 shares and 3,500 comments.

The beloved water buffaloes are also equally cherished by Surat's family
According to Coconuts Bangkok, Surat and his family live in Chai Nat, Thailand together with Gold and the rest of the herd.
"Live among those you love, do what you like… this is true happiness," Surat wrote in his post, according to the portal.
