This Malaysian Artist Creates Highly-Detailed Miniature Dioramas Of His Childhood Memories

From the discolouration of weather-beaten attap roofs down to the tiniest holes in motorcycle crates, Malaysian artist Eddie Putera's attention to detail in his miniature dioramas is simply unparalleled
The 51-year-old's works of art recently went viral after stunning photos of his miniature dioramas were shared on the Facebook creative community page Talenthouse
At the time of writing, the post had garnered close to 32,000 shares.
Also an avid photographer, Eddie decided to combine his skills in photography and talent in miniature modelling to create highly-detailed scenes from his childhood
Having built his first diorama three years ago, Eddie now takes as little as one week to complete a miniature model, and can even create up to six in one month
In a feature by Bored Panda, Eddie said that some of his dioramas are recreated from moments he can still remember from his past, sometimes with input from family members as those scenes no longer exist in real life
In addition to recreating familiar scenes from the good ol' days, Eddie also dabbles in bringing living spaces to life, complete with rustic machinery and natural greenery

According to Eddie, people buy his creations - sometimes customised for loved ones - as gifts. His works, which are sold online via his website, can go up to RM1,750!
