Did you know that the Malaysian government actually has an official team of "keyboard warriors" to defend the country's top leadership against unfavourable allegations?
According to Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Joseph Kurup last August, the team - made up of 50 Pengerak Perpaduan members - was formed at least two years ago to fend off racial and political accusations and attacks on social media.
Then, just last week on 8 March, 10 NGOs pledged to support UMNO by becoming "keyboard warriors" to counter allegations made against the country's leaders.
