Just when you thought Asian mums couldn't get any more creative with their reminders… one Malaysian mum has officially unlocked Boss Level Parenting

In a hilarious (and painfully relatable) video going viral online, content creator Lyanna Kea is seen minding her own business at home when suddenly, her robot vacuum starts talking.

"I got my mum a robot vacuum but now I'm regretting it," she captions the video.

As the cleaning robot slowly rolls into her room, it starts talking in her mum's unmistakable voice: "Ah girl, I'm coming back in five minutes, okay? Can you just make sure you go inside the fridge and take out the chicken? It's for dinner tonight, and..."

Mid-sentence, the robot cleaner stops abruptly. Her mum's voice changes tone as she spots a shirt on the floor:

"What is that??? Your shirt ah?? COME HERE AND PICK UP YOUR SHIRT NOW."

And just like that, the humble floor-cleaning device transforms into a full-on, mobile nagging machine.

"Don't simply just throw-throw-throw your shirt everywhere for other people to pick up. Your mother is not your maid, okay?!"

As if that wasn't enough, the vacuum rolls over to a box on the floor, and the interrogation continues:

"And what is this?? Ha?"

"It's just recycling," Lyanna responds sheepishly.

But the robot bumps into the box anyway, and her mum kicks it up a notch with a full Cantonese + frustration combo:

"Another Amazon Amazon, Ebay Ebay... Always buying all this nonsense! Shopping, shopping — I told you how many times already? Don't simply shopping!

"Buy all these useless items, and then what? You think this is your hotel ah? I am your maid, is it? Ha?"

Comments flooded in, with people saying things like, "You think I'm your maid ah — talking from a vacuum cleaner", and "How does she make such an expressionless device show so much emotion?"

Speaking to SAYS, Lyanna shared that the video was just meant as a joke. But let's be real — every Asian kid can relate.
