Mohd Zulfikar Al Fateh Mohd Fauzi won a brand new Perodua Axia in a lucky draw held at Suria Shopping Mall in Kota Kinabalu last Saturday, 4 January.
The lucky draw was organised by Robert. T 1994, an optical wholesaler.
Mohd Zulfikar was visiting the mall with his family because his mother, Norazemah Nordin, needed to collect a pair of glasses she had ordered from Robert. T 1994
Who would've thought a simple errand could lead to this family driving away in a brand new car?
Image via @officialmedmalaysia (Instagram)Norazemah was surprised to learn that she was eligible to participate in the lucky draw. "I was joking with my family, 'Maybe we'll get to join the lucky draw', but I never expected that my ticket would be chosen," she recounted.
She and two other finalists were called to the stage, where they were each presented with three identical-looking car keys. And six-year-old Mohd Zulfikar chose the winning key.
"This gift is a blessing for our children. It's a New Year's gift that we never expected. We are truly grateful," said Norazemah.
She shared that the family already owns a car, so they plan to use the new car for special vacations.
