Viral TikTok Video Of Handwashing Dance Helps Prevent The Spread Of The COVID-19 Virus

Singers Erik and Min teamed up with Vietnam's Ministry of Health to make a video preventing the spread of COVID-19

The animated video shows the proper way to wash your hands, to not touch your hands and mouth, and to limit going to crowded places.

The tune is so catchy that there are videos of people dancing to it!

One of whom is Internet personality Qang Dang, who has 300,000 followers on TikTok.

The viral video shows the pair performing the handwashing dance moves, which were illustrated in the animated video. 

The dance moves show how the public should wash their hands correctly - by scrubbing in between your fingers.

"We want the song to give fire and reduce tension for those leading this fight including experts, doctors, medical workers, and millions of labourers who are on the front-line to fight this epidemic daily," says the video description, reported The Straits Times.

American talk show host John Oliver praised the animated video and even danced along with it

"Vietnam made a song about washing your hands to prevent coronavirus infection and it absolutely slaps! That's a genuine club banger right there!" he said on his show
