MasterChef UK judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace are currently under fire because Gregg told a Kuantan-born contestant that her chicken rendang wasn't crispy
Contestants on the show were challenged to create a dish significant to themselves, and Zaleha Kadir Olpin chose to make nasi lemak and chicken rendang, a dish close to all Malaysian hearts.
The former Petronas accountant was then eliminated from the show after both John and Gregg were unsatisfied with her chicken rendang.
This, of course, angered not only Malaysians but Singaporeans and Indonesians as well, because how can chicken rendang be crispy?
