The Kid LAROI Cancels Upcoming Malaysia Concert & Entire 'The First Time' Asia Tour
The singer confirmed the unfortunate news himself.
Australian singer-rapper The Kid LAROI has cancelled his upcoming show in Malaysia and his entire The First Time Asia tour
The 21-year-old singer was set to perform at Zepp KL on Monday, 4 November. However, it seems that the show won't be happening anymore.
Rumours of the concert's cancellation began to surface when concert-goers who purchased tickets for the 4 November show received an email from the ticket sale organiser, Ticket Empire, stating the artiste's show had been cancelled.
In the email, the 21-year-old artiste shared a statement, confirming the disappointing news himself. "My fans are everything to me, and I'm always committed to delivering the best performance and experience at every show. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, we've had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Asia tour. This was not an easy choice, but I promise I'll be back on the road soon. I can't wait to perform and celebrate with all of you next time!"
Ticket Empire has confirmed that full refunds will be processed for all tickets purchased
The cancellation affects shows in several countries, including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, and Taiwan.
SAYS reached out to the concert's organiser, Neptune Presents, who confirmed the cancellation but declined to comment further.
The Kid LAROI was previously one of the performing acts lined up for Good Vibes Festival 2023, which was ultimately cancelled due to controversy surrounding English band The 1975's frontman, Matt Healy
After finding out about the festival's cancellation upon touching down in Kuala Lumpur, the Australian singer decided to hold a private concert at his hotel lobby for the fans who showed up.
