Desperate Men Wanted Sydney Sweeney's Bathwater, And Now She's Actually Selling It (Kinda)
Yes. Infused into a soap. To cleanse yourself with. Um-
Sydney Sweeney's shaking up social media with her limited-edition "bathwater-infused" soap, recently released in collaboration with Dr Squatch
Named Sydney's Bathwater Bliss, the line of soap bars have caused quite the stir.
It all started with an — ahem — interesting ad that Sweeney posted on Instagram, in collaboration with the American personal care company
In the ad, Sweeney addresses viewers as "dirty little boys", while advertising Dr Squatch's Natural Body Wash in a bathtub.
"You'll finally get the attention you deserve," Sweeney says in the video.
Partly thanks to comments like these under the ad, Sweeney and Dr Squatch listened and apparently, took notes:
Introducing a "very real, very limited-edition soap" that's apparently made with Sydney Sweeney's bathwater
In a recent Instagram post, Sweeney mentioned that the limited-edition soaps will be up for grabs this coming 6 June, on Dr Squatch's official website.
"You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it," Sweeney's and Dr Squatch's collaborative Instagram post reads.
100 lucky (or brave?) winners can get this soap for free, as long as you're over 18 years of age
The promo mentioned that the soap is "a perfect combination of the two best places on the planet: The outdoors and Sydney Sweeney's bathtub. Experience the ultimate blend of outdoor serenity with refreshing notes of pine, Douglas fir, earthy moss, and a touch of Sydney's very own bathwater."
Whether you want to marvel or scratch your head at this marketing move, we'll leave that up to you
The Euphoria actress is no stranger to being the topic of conversation among netizens
At the 2025 Met Gala themed around Black style, Sweeney faced backlash for referring to herself as a "white woman" in a manner perceived as dismissive of the event's theme, according to The Express Tribune.
She's also a frequent victim of body shaming on social media, and often calls out the misogyny behind such prejudiced comments.
