Royal Selangor Just Released 4 New 'Star Wars' Figurines And They're Amazingly Detailed
The limited edition models were released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of 'Star Wars'.

Can you believe it's been 40 years since the first 'Star Wars' film was released? In honour of the sci-fi icon's 40th anniversary, Royal Selangor has released new commemorative pieces to add to its 'Star Wars' collection.
The new commemorative pieces were released today, 4 May 2017, which is also the official Star Wars Day! In case you're wondering why it's on this particular date, it's because "May the Fourth" is a pun for the iconic catchphrase "may the Force be with you". :p
The highlight of the new additions have got to be the Limited Edition Gold Plated Millennium Falcon, which is limited to only 200 pieces worldwide and is only available online
Meticulously crafted and intricately detailed, the model stays true to its battered and much-modified movie counterpart, even featuring landing gears that retract, stimulating flight, when it is placed on a special stand.
The online exclusive model is available for purchase via Royal Selangor's official website on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The Millennium Falcon model is also available in a non-limited edition pewter version
