We've watched their YouTube videos countless times, but nothing beats listening to them live. Serious.

From computer screens to the big stage, YouTube stars Pentatonix proved to be so much more than an a cappella group singing covers when they performed their first ever concert in Malaysia over the weekend

Clocking in at less than an hour a half, the 5-member outfit put on an impressive live show despite it being quite a short set. Here are some of our favourite moments from the concert:

1. Pentatonix took to the stage at 8pm (punctuality FTW!) and got right into business with a mash-up of popular tunes...

2. ... Before jumping into a fabulous medley of Queen Bey's (that's Beyoncé) greatest hits

3. The group turned the excitement down a notch with a Sam Smith mash-up, 'La La Latch' where Kirstie Maldonado pretty much took centre stage with her amazing vocals

4. Speaking of vocals, can everyone just stop for a moment and appreciate Mitch Grassi hitting all the jaw-droppingly high notes

5. Beatboxer Kevin Olusola brought out his cello and proceeded to wow everyone with his celloboxing skills. Yep, he's playing the cello AND beatboxing at the same time!

6. He also showed us that there is more than one way to play the cello besides drawing a bow across the strings

7. This is probably the only place you'll hear their rendition of 'FourFiveSeconds' because it's not on their YouTube channel yet. We checked. ;)

8. No concert is complete without asking your fans to light up their phone's flashlights. We can only imagine how pretty it must've looked from the stage!

9. Founding members Scott Hoying, Mitch and Kirstie leading the crowd during the surging chorus of 'On My Way Home', a Pentatonix original

10. We've seen the video countless times, but we'll never get tired of 'The Evolution of Music'. Some even memorised it well enough to sing along!

11. Removing their individual mics, the group requested that everyone remain silent as they share a little Christmas spirit in May...

12. ... Before ending the show on a high note with a medley of Daft Punk's catchiest hits, which is also Pentatonix's most-viewed video on YouTube

All in all, this concert was worth leaving our laptops at home for. Anyway, here's a crowd pic Mitch took in the middle of the show. Pretty good turnout, huh?

Come back soon, Pentatonix!
