These Cute Malaysian Animations Will Entertain Your Children With Fun, Wholesome Content
Tailored to young Muslim audiences, Little Ammar and Mina Mila feature cheerful colours and catchy melodies.

This February and March, two exciting new animations — Little Ammar and Mina Mila — will be joining TV9 as part of the channel's children's slot, Jaguh Kartun
A go-to for many Malaysian children for their fix of cartoons, Jaguh Kartun now has an extended time slot, from 5pm to 7pm, which boasts a variety of quality local animations, curated for younger audiences.
Little Ammar and Mina Mila are the latest two additions to join the roster that showcases other shows your children likely know and love.
The shows on Jaguh Kartun include:
- Knowsy Nina (Monday and Tuesday at 5pm)
- Supertots (Wednesday and Thursday at 5pm)
- Supersquad (Friday to Sunday at 5pm)
- Cingkus Blues (Monday to Thursday at 5.30pm)
- Soccer Bugs (Friday to Sunday at 5pm)
- Boboiboy (every day at 6pm)
- Agent Ali (every day at 6pm)
Created by local studio Durioo, Little Ammar airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6.30pm, while Mina Mila will commence on 28 March, every Monday and Tuesday at 6.30pm
Featuring a cute little boy with his beloved rabbit, Rapbit, each three-minute long episode of Little Ammar will captivate young children through songs, zikirs, and easy-to-understand educational content.
On the other hand, there is Mina Mila, which runs for seven minutes each episode. Mina and Mila are identical twin sisters to Ammar and both have distinct personalities.
Made for children between the ages of five and nine, Mina Mila entertains through funny moments as the twins go through their daily lives.

According to chief operating officer of TV9 Sherina Nordin, "There is no doubt that children now learn faster through television and these two animations, namely Little Ammar and Mina Mila, are suitable for the whole family to watch"
"This animation is very interesting because it uses cheerful colours that can attract the interest of children, in addition to melodies that easily stimulate their minds, as well as religious messages that are easy to learn," Sherina said.
She also noted that the collaboration between TV9 and Durioo comes at a fitting moment, as children are more likely to spend more hours at home, especially at a time like now.
