Lady Gaga Leaves Singapore On A Regular Flight & The Comments Go Wild
Not her flying economy like the rest of us.
A Xiaohongshu video recently captured Lady Gaga boarding a commercial flight out of Singapore
Lady Gaga was sighted at Singapore's Changi Airport early yesterday morning, 26 May.
Videos and photos shared on the social media platform Xiaohongshu showed the pop superstar at Terminal 1, boarding an Emirates flight to Dubai, which departed from Singapore at 1.40am.
One particular video showed the 39-year-old performer — whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta — as she went through airport security.
She was seen wearing an all-black outfit with platform heels and was accompanied by at least two people.
She was departing Singapore after performing four shows in the city-state on 18, 19, 21, and 24 May. Singapore was her only stop in Asia during this tour.
Netizens were surprised to see the superstar boarding a commercial flight, as many expected her to board a private plane
"Haha, is she going to take off her shoes?" a comment read, referring to the strict protocols of airport security.
"Lady Gaga is copying me by taking midnight flights," another commented, hinting at how red-eye flights are generally more affordable.
"Wow, I just sent off my friend on this flight, and I didn't even see Lady Gaga. My friend has no Internet on the plane, and is likely asleep right now. She probably doesn't even know she's on the same flight as Lady Gaga," a person commented.
To add to the commotion, the singer was previously spotted enjoying lunch at a local hawker stall between her shows in Singapore
While taking a break during her Mayhem tour, Lady Gaga made a visit to Maxwell Food Centre in Chinatown last Tuesday, 20 May.
She was reportedly seen enjoying lunch with her team at the popular food centre and also stopped to sign a fan's Mayhem album.
