Lost is a Korean melodrama that's bound to hit you with all the heavy emotions, and make you reflect on life. The story revolves around a 40-year-old ghostwriter and a 27-year-old businessman, both of whom receive a wake-up call and decide to rise up in order to make something of themselves.

If you're looking for a suspenseful Korean drama similar to The Penthouse: War In Life, check out High Class! It's a mystery suspense drama that reveals the dangerous lies and hypocrisies hidden behind the lives of women who live in the top 0.1% of society. 

High Class tells the story of four women – Song Yeo Ul, Nam Ji Seon, Hwang Na Yoon, and Cha Da Yeon – living perfect lives and dealing with everyday first world problems, without realising that everything is about to take a completely different turn.

Based on the popular webcomic of the same name, Yumi's Cells is a slice of life Korean drama you confirm can relate to, especially if you have an interest in writing and reading short fictional stories on popular sites like Wattpad, WEBTOON, and more. 

Yumi is an ordinary single woman who struggles with expressing her feelings, and spends most of her time writing fictional love stories. To help her get through her monotonous day-to-day activities, Yumi also engages with imaginary cells that represent different emotions and thoughts such as love, violence, and more.

4. Hometown – Starring Yoo Jae Myung and Han Ye Ri | Coming soon on iQ.com

From terrorism to kidnappings, and murders, this crime and mystery Korean drama is set to bring you on a wild ride.

Set in 1999, Hometown centres around a police detective who struggles with loss and guilt, after losing his wife to a terrorist attack. When he investigates a strange murder case in a small local town, he realises that it's somehow related to the same terrorists.

5. One and Only – Starring Allen Ren and Bai Lu | Available on iQ.com

Adapted from a popular novel of the same name, One and Only (also known as Chang'an Memories) is a Chinese period drama that tells the story of two individuals from very different backgrounds falling for each other.

Cui Shi Yi, a princess-to-be, was sent to the Zhou Manor to become a protégé. There, she unexpectedly falls in love with an accomplished general named Zhou Sheng Chen. But to fulfil her family obligations, Cui Shi Yi is forced to return home to marry the Crown Prince. Will the couple get their happy ending?

6. Forever and Ever – Starring Allen Ren and Bai Lu | Coming soon on iQ.com

Forever and Ever is a modern sequel to the period drama One and Only, which means it stars Allen Ren and Bai Lu once again! Fans have been loving the duo on One and Only, as the both of them have an incredibly sweet chemistry together. So, make sure to catch them playing a couple once again on Forever and Ever!

Shi Yi, a gentle and low profile voice actor, is left with a deep impression when she meets chemistry professor Zhou Sheng Chen at the airport one day. When the both of them bump into each other again, they gradually develop feelings for one another.

7. Ferryman • Legends of Nanyang – Starring Qi Yuwu and Lawrence Wong | Premiering EXCLUSIVELY on iQ.com

Based on iQiyi's successful 2014 series of the same name, you'll love the new remake of Ferryman • Legends of Nanyang, as it has Southeast Asian twists to it, making the drama all the more relatable, exciting, and thrilling. Fun fact – the drama was even filmed in different locations across Malaysia!   

Both ferryman Zhao Li and ordinary citizen Xia Dongqing have the same mission – to assist the wandering souls in the mortal world who have unfinished business. But Xia Dongqing carries a dangerous secret – he is cursed with special eyes that can detect all sentient beings. This ends up causing more trouble to the ferryman. 

Look out for two new episodes every Tuesday until Thursday at 8pm.

8. Love Under The Full Moon – Starring Ju Jing Yi and Zheng Ye Cheng | Available on iQ.com

Can't get enough of fantasy dramas? Then you'll definitely wanna check out Love Under The Full Moon, which is all about time travelling and parallel dimensions. 

One night, Lei Chu Xia stumbles upon the super moon, which ends up transporting her to an entirely different timeline, where she meets a man named Xu Xiao Dong. However, her journey also caused her to forget her identity. What will happen next?

Dangerous Zone marks iQiyi's first prison-themed Taiwanese drama. Starring talented actors such as Vic Zhou (who will be playing three characters – an attorney, a prisoner, and a psychological-profiling expert), Malaysian actor Christopher Lee, and Berant Zhu, you'll be hooked on every episode. 

With a trail of murdered victims and a pile of unsolved cases, the police desperately work hand-in-hand with a group of criminals to nab a genius serial killer. The team go deep into the murder scene, without realising that a greater fatal crisis is about to ensue.
