BTS's Jungkook Excites Weverse ARMYs Ahead Of Military Discharge

Jeon-Jungkook (along with fellow BTS member Park Jimin) both began their mandatory military service on 12 December 2023. They enlisted at the Republic of Korea Army's 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

With such a commitment, you'd think that BTS's "golden maknae" wouldn't have time to engage with his fans. Wrong!

This past Tuesday, 13 May, he unexpectedly and casually dropped several posts across different platforms.

His replies to ARMYs on Weverse were not just one-off either. In fact, after he started responding, ARMYs began commenting even more in hopes that they'd get a reply from him.

Some of his replies amassed over 10,000 likes!

Jungkook sure knows how to keep up with trends even while serving. The Instagram post featuring his dog used the viral "AI♡SCREAM!" song — proof that he's still in the loop.

Smart move! By posting updates and interacting on platforms like Weverse and Instagram, he's warming up fans for his (and BTS's) official comeback.

Speaking of which, by June 2025, all BTS members will have been discharged from the military. You know what this means.

BTS is expected to make their comeback next month!

With their highly-anticipated return, the boy group will surely be making waves once again (as they always do).

Jungkook is no stranger to success. Just recently, two of his hit songs — 3D and Standing Next to You — earned the title of Most Performed Songs of the Year.

According to The Korea Herald, Jungkook successfully exceeded 5.5 billion plays on Spotify with his first solo album, Golden.

If that's not a feat, then I don't know what is.
