There's An International Ballet Gala Happening At PJPAC This September

This September, the International Ballet Gala is bringing star-studded casts, the iconic Swan Lake classical performance, and more to all ballet enthusiasts

The Ballet Theatre Malaysia (BTM), in collaboration with Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC), will be hosting the International Ballet Gala 2022 featuring casts from the US, Japan, and UK, along with our very own Malaysian ballet dancer.

If you've always wanted to watch ballet performances live, this is your chance to bring your family and friends to watch the ballet performances happening at PJPAC this September.

The gala will be happening on 2 September until 4 September and will feature famous classical performances, like Swan Lake and La Esmeralda

BTM will be performing the famous classical dance number, Swan Lake at the gala, along with The Little Humpbacked Horse, La Esmeralda, and Le Talisman.

They will also be performing original neo-classical choreographies. The gala will be showcasing star-studded casts, Japan's Yui Kyotani and Rino Fujihashi, US's Taras Domitro, UK's Ben Cook, and Malaysia's Dominic Lor.

One of the highlights of the gala is the closing performance, Die Fledermaus, with music by Johann Strauss. The closing will be performed by Yui Kyotani as Bella and Taras Domitro as The Bat as a duet.
