A video of British model Kit Price fluently speaking Malay while ordering food has gone viral
According to the video posted on TikTok, Price took Calum Harper, another British model visiting him in Langkawi, to try Malaysian food for the first time.
They visited a public market and ordered two roti canai, along with a glass of iced MILO and a glass of teh o ais limau.
"Abang, dua roti canai," Price says fluently in the video.
Harper tried both drinks, commenting that they tasted "beautiful", with a particular preference for the iced MILO.
Harper then sought Price's guidance on how to properly enjoy the roti canai
"Just rip it and dunk it in the dahl," Price told his friend, who is based in New York and had recently flown 36 hours to Malaysia to visit him.
Although Harper admitted that he was not a fan of curry, he still found the dish enjoyable, remarking that it tasted similar to a pancake.
Price's Malay skills impressed netizens, who praised him in the comments
Commenters mentioned that Price's fluency in Malay and his Malaysian accent were impressive.
A person explained that Price had lived in Malaysia for 18 years.
