The moment has come. After 6 nominations, almost 2 decades of waiting, and countless memes... Leonardo DiCaprio has finally won an Oscar!

He was nominated for his first Academy Award for his role in 1994's 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape?', followed by four more acting nominations and one for producing 'The Wolf of Wall Street'.

Leo bagged the Best Actor for 'The Revenant', which also won two other Oscars for Best Directing and Best Cinematography

With his first ever Oscar in hand, Leo took the opportunity to push for action on climate change and justice for indigenous people in his acceptance speech
