BLACKPINK's Lisa Removed From Weibo After Risqué Cabaret Performance
Lisa's account was reported for violating laws, regulations, and Weibo community agreements.

BLACKPINK's Lisa has reportedly been banned from Chinese social media platform Weibo, weeks after her controversial burlesque performance at the Crazy Horse nightclub in Paris
According to CNN, the Thai star's verified account is no longer searchable on Weibo.
Lisa's username "lalalalisa_m" has also been changed to "user7330454276".
Her list of eight million followers has also disappeared.
When fans tried to view her account, they received a notification that read, "The account can longer be viewed because it has received complaints of breaches of law and regulations, as well as relevant rules from the Weibo Community Management Regulations."
According to South China Morning Post, Weibo did not provide any further explanation for the ban.
Meanwhile, the Weibo accounts of BLACKPINK's three other members who did not perform at Crazy Horse — Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé — are still active.
Fans speculate that Lisa's performance at the Crazy Horse, which is well-known for risqué cabaret, could have resulted in the singer's account suspension
What is risqué cabaret?
Dancers are typically scantily dressed while performing on a dimly-lit stage.
The singer had shared photos from her show at Crazy Horse on her Instagram account, describing it as "such an amazing experience".
CNN reported that the Crazy House is a burlesque club, but it faced backlash in some parts of Asia where the culture is more conservative.
According to China's performing arts guidelines, the country strictly prohibits the promotion of provocative and vulgar performances, the Malay Mail wrote.
Several brands have reportedly removed images featuring Lisa from their social media accounts
Luxury fashion brands such as Bulgari and CELINE, for which Lisa is an ambassador, are reportedly deleting all posts and images of the singer from their Weibo accounts, according to a South Korean news outlet TV Report.
Yonhap News Agency reports that Lisa's agency, YG Entertainment, is unable to comment on the situation as the singer is in the midst of contract renewal negotiations.
