The chatbot will assist the current headmaster, Tom Rogerson, on various decision-making and problem-solving skills. So far, the bot has already helped draft school policies, issue instructions to staff, and support students with learning disabilities such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

The chatbot, named Abigail Bailey, even has a dedicated profile on the school's website

On the website, Bailey says that it has been appointed to assist with the management and leadership of Cottesmore School. It also provides support to anyone who would like to get expert leadership advice.

In a brief video on the school's website, Bailey added that it will help school leaders and staff reduce workload and shorten the time it takes to make school-changing decisions.

Bailey works similarly to ChatGPT. It generates human-like responses to questions and prompts.

"The introduction of AI is not about replacing our dedicated educators but about augmenting their capabilities and ensuring our students receive the best education possible," Rogerson said.

So, what do you think about having AI robots in schools?
