Adobe is doubling down on artificial intelligence (AI) as it announced a suite of new AI-powered tools across its Creative Cloud applications

Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro are all getting some serious upgrades designed to streamline workflows and make the creative process even smoother.

One of the headline features is Photoshop's new Distraction Removal tool, which takes the existing Remove Tool to the next level. It's essentially a magic wand for clutter — users can now get rid of unwanted objects in photos with just a single click.

The tool's AI automatically detects and eliminates common distractions, a feature that will soon be available on both the desktop and web versions of Photoshop. Adobe has hinted that even more AI updates are on the horizon.

Adobe Photoshop is also getting a bump in its generative AI capabilities, thanks to an upgraded Firefly Image 3 model

The Generative Expand, Generative Fill, Generative Similar, and Generate Background tools now have enhanced functionality, making it easier for users to tweak, expand, or completely reimagine their images.

And for those who rely on Photoshop's web app, a new feature allows users to automatically select and remove all distracting objects in an image in one go.

Adobe Illustrator has a new nifty Objects on Path feature that simplifies arranging design elements

Adobe also introduced a new and improved Mockup tool for creating more realistic 3D stages. It's a small tweak, but could save designers loads of time.

On the other hand, the InDesign app now features Generative Expand, which makes dynamic image resizing a breeze.

And for those who dabble in video editing, Premiere Pro is rolling out a new Generative Extend feature, now in its beta phase.

Could Adobe's gamble with AI pay off for creatives everywhere? We'll have to see what the future holds.
