In a video shared by FIFA, a group of Malaysian football fans can be seen singing and cheering for the Thai players after the game ended at the Thammasat Stadium.

"Sawadeekap, sawadeekap, yay-yay-yay, Thailand!" they chanted, while the Thai players and captain Theerathon Bunmathan could be seen smiling and clapping along.
