Unhappy China Football Fans Demand Refund After 1-1 Draw With Harimau Malaya

According to FMT, the international football friendly match was held at the Phoenix Stadium in Chengdu on Saturday night, 9 September.
Malaysia's national team, ranked 136th in the world, stunned world number 80 China with a goal by Faisal Halim as early as the 11th minute.
The Dragons managed to level the score with a shot by Lin Liangming at the 36th minute.
Coming to a draw at the end of the game, however, some Chinese fans at the stadium started to boo at their team
In a video shared on Douyin, supporters of the Chinese national team can be seen disappointed with their team's performance, and asking for a refund for their tickets.
"I don't see them having any desire to win. I don't see their spirit," said a disgruntled fan, clad in the Chinese team's red jersey.
Other spectators behind him also chanted, "Refund! Refund! Refund!" before being stopped by stadium security.
China coach Aleksandar Jankovic has since extended an apology to the home fans for the disappointing results
"Honestly, we did not deserve to win the game. The fans showed tremendous support, and I deeply regret that we couldn't live up to their expectations," Jankovic said, as quoted by New Straits Times.
"It was a challenging match, particularly in the first half, where we performed poorly. We were fortunate not to concede two or three goals," he added.
Meanwhile, Malaysia's national team manager, Kim Pan-gon, acknowledged China's strength during the game
"China is a formidable team. While we faced challenges with open play, we adapted well, and sometimes a bit of luck comes into play.
"I'm proud of the fighting spirit displayed by our team," he said.
