Cleaning up after we are done eating at fast food restaurants is a practice that Malaysians are slowly adapting to

To raise awareness among the public, a Malaysian man recently posted on Facebook about why we should normalise cleaning up after ourselves.

According to the man, it is critical to practise this because fast food restaurants are often short of manpower and our assistance is deeply appreciated.

"It doesn't matter if you are B40, M40, or T20. After eating, please clean up and throw away your trash. Fast food chains are short on staff to clean the table after you eat," he said.

Another commented that if fast food restaurants are short of manpower, they should not put the responsibility on customers.

"That's their problem, not the customers' problem," they wrote.
