[VIDEO] PDRM Arrests Man For Breaking Rear-Window Wipers Of Cars Parked Near Bus Terminal
The incident occurred near the Batu Pahat bus terminal in Johor yesterday, 20 October.
The police have arrested a foreign man who was seen breaking the rear-window wipers of cars parked near the Batu Pahat bus terminal, Johor yesterday, 20 October
According to the New Straits Times, Batu Pahat district police chief ACP Shahrulanuar Mushaddat Abdullah Sani said the arrest was made after a video of the man's actions went viral on social media.
Based on preliminary investigations, Shahrulanuar said the man committed vandalism on the cars parked in the vicinity at around 3.30pm.
"Acting on the information received, police from the motorcycle patrol unit successfully arrested the suspect on the same day for further investigation.
"During the arrest, a penknife was found in the suspect's backpack," said the district police chief.

The man will be investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief and Section 6(1) of the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Dangerous Weapons Act 1958
He will also be probed under Section 6(1) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for residing in the country without valid documents.
