These 2 States Are Offering 50% Off On Traffic Fines Until Next Week
The discount only applies to certain types of traffic summons.
Now is the time to pay off your traffic summons because the state of Selangor and Kedah will be offering a 50% discount on traffic tickets
According to Selangor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT), the offer will begin on Tuesday, 20 December and will run until Wednesday, 21 December.
Opening hours for the department will be set from 8am to 4pm.
The 50% discount will be applicable at all traffic district contingents throughout Selangor.

As for Kedah, the offer will begin earlier and will run for three days, starting tomorrow, 17 December until Monday, 19 December
The discount will be applicable at all traffic district contingents throughout the state of Kedah.
Opening hours for traffic offices in Kedah are set from 8am to 5pm.
All traffic tickets are applicable for the 50% discount except those issued for the offenses below:
2. Misuse of the emergency lane
3. Road accidents
4. Reckless overtaking
5. Overtaking on double-lined road
6. Car accident tickets
7. Court-issued fines
8. Non-compoundable tickets (NC)
9. Illegal modification of exhaust pipes
10. Tickets received during heavy vehicle and security operations
