Kudos to The Ocean Cleanup team once again!

They were able to hit another milestone by removing one million kg of trash from the Klang River.

Interceptor 002 did an excellent job in saving the Klang River from water pollution, with its main goal being to prevent the unrelenting flow of plastic pollution into the world's oceans.

The Ocean Cleanup posted on its Twitter account, on Thursday, 17 November, that they have exempted 157 offloads out of 942 dumpsters.

Remember owner, Boyan Slat?

He was giving a presentation, in 2019, about his invention and was unexpectedly greeted by a teddy bear.

Well, another decided to greet him again this year.

Back in November 2019, Boyan rescued a cute and fluffy teddy bear amid a mountain of trash in the Klang River.

He probably felt nostalgic, as three years later, in November 2022, the team found yet another "bear" while cleaning up the river.

Is this a pattern? We will never know.

But here's a friendly reminder to not litter around the river and keep our environment safe and sound!
