Media Prima Rebrands Radio Stations With Awesome DJ Lineups And Brand New App

Previously known as RIPPLE, the media company recently unveiled a major strategic revamp for the business, including the rebranding of all radio stations, content, and lineups.
Two radio stations, namely Hot FM and Fly FM, are coming out with a very new and different sound, complemented with refreshed logos. On the other hand, two other radio stations, previously known as One FM and Kool FM, are now branded as 8FM and Buletin FM.
"This is MPA's first holistic rebrand in over 15 years," shared Nazri Noran, Chief Executive Officer of MPA

According to Nazri, this rebranding is meant to reinvigorate and strengthen the brand as the top leading radio platform in the country.
"We kick it off with on-air programming, new radio talents, fresh logos, and branding across our assets including digital, social, and mobile. We are also thrilled with this new journey as it is also being supported by an extensive marketing campaign across all Media Prima group platforms," he added.

For starters, well-known Malaysian actor, comedian, and TV presenter Douglas Lim joins Ili as part of Fly FM's Breakfast Show, which broadcasts every week day from 6am to 10am.
"The changes of the talent lineup are a part of the new strategy for the brands to appear relevant and competitive in the market. There are lots in store from today onwards for Hot FM, Buletin FM, Fly FM, and 8FM. Malaysia's radio fans can expect to be thrilled and fall in love with radio all over again with this master brand overhaul," said Nazri.
Besides that, MPA also introduced Audio+, an app that will be home for all radio, digital, and social content

Instead of downloading a separate app for each radio station, all of the brands will be conveniently parked under one easy and fresh app, Audio+. Not only will you be able to listen to your favourite radio stations, you'll also get access to podcasts, videos, and more exciting content.
The app can be downloaded via Google Play, App Store, and Huawei App Gallery.
