M'sian Lawyer & Influencer Gets Beaten For Allegedly Paying RM500 To Meet Someone's Wife
The woman that he wanted to meet was said to be only 18 years old.
A local influencer, who is known to his fans as a lawyer and 'Malaysian Wang Leehom', allegedly offered to pay a woman RM500 to "go out with him".
However, he was caught and beaten by several men.
On Sunday, 4 September, videos of the lawyer from Melaka being beaten by two men went viral on social media.
Based on the video published by Oriental News, the lawyer was shopping at Mid Valley before being approached by the men in black clothes.
In the video, the men can be seen grabbing his hands, as if to prevent him from running away. After some exchange, the men proceed to kick and punch him, causing him to fall to the ground.
The lawyer is seen running to hide behind the cashier of a women's handbag and shoe store, as if trying to use the staff or passers-by as a shield.
After the video blew up on social media, the lawyer expressed his disbelief that not even one onlooker came to help him when he was assaulted in plain sight.

The reason he was ambushed by the men was that the woman he met was allegedly someone else's wife
According to China Press, the lawyer was accused of paying the woman RM500 for the meet-up, citing a comment found under a viral video published on Sunday.
"He asked a woman out on Facebook, saying he would give her RM500 as a meet-up fee. After they met, he invited her to go to a hotel," read the comment.
"Luckily, the woman's husband found out about it in advance and was able to stop the tragedy from happening at the mall."
On Sunday night, the lawyer said on Facebook that he had merely met the woman for 15 minutes and it was his first time seeing her, asserting that, "I did not 'play' with someone else's wife".
In a short 23-second video filmed outside Mid Valley, he said that he did not know whether the mysterious woman he met was single or married, and that they met in the mall on the pretext of shopping together.
"Actually, I don't even know if the person was a man or a woman!" he exclaimed in the video.

The lawyer has a huge social media following and is known among the local Chinese community for creating cross-dressing and self-deprecating comedy videos.
He often brags about hanging out with local celebrities while always emphasising or commenting on their good looks. Most of the content on his Instagram, which has 25,000 followers, is photos of him with local influencers.
He calls himself the Malaysian version of Wang Leehom, a disgraced Chinese-American singer-songwriter known for his musical talent and good looks before his estranged wife accused him of cheating.
In the wake of the public assault, the lawyer is also accused of trying to coax a person believed to be his friend with a "RM300 commission" to bring an 18-year-old woman out to meet him
"You bring her to my house, I will give you a commission. You don't have to do anything. Just wait for us in the other room," Tantan News quoted the lawyer as saying.
The last few messages in the WhatsApp chatroom show him allegedly admitting that he was attacked for meeting the person who was introduced by the friend he was talking with.
"Do you want to come over? I was attacked after meeting the friend you introduced me to," the messages in white text boxes read.
"I introduced a friend to you and you treated her like a prostitute. Of course, you would get beaten by people," read the replies.

In a one-hour Facebook Live on Tuesday night, 6 September, the lawyer shared his side of the story, saying he has seen many cases of men seducing other people's wives but he would never do the same
"In my career as a lawyer, I have seen many cases of seducing wives, so I will never do anything to seduce other people's wives!" he said.
He also related the values his mother taught him when he was young, which were to never resort to violence, stressing that physically attacking someone is wrong.
The lawyer then recounted the incident on Sunday, saying the woman he met tried to warn him to leave as the situation had become "very dangerous".
As he followed behind her to leave the store, he was then stopped by several men dressed in all black.
He shared that the woman he met had short hair that did not go beyond her neck, and was wearing a face mask and a pair of huge sunglasses, lamenting that he did not even get a clear glimpse of what she looked like.
