Ipoh Man Suffers Severe Hand Injuries After Getting Caught In Meat Grinder
Firefighters used cutting tools to dismantle the grinder and free the victim's hand.
A 26-year-old man sustained serious injuries after his right hand became trapped in a meat grinder, prompting a rescue operation at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital earlier this week
According to the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Department, it received a distress call from the hospital at around 2pm on Tuesday, 15 April, requesting assistance to free the victim's hand from the machine.
A special rescue team from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene, where firefighters used cutting tools to dismantle the grinder and free the victim's hand.

The man was identified as Chin Dick Shen
He was handed over to medical personnel for treatment, the department said.
