Influencer Arrested For Allegedly Sending Lewd Photo To 14-Year-Old Girl

A 22-year-old social media influencer has been arrested for allegedly sending lewd messages to a 14-year-old girl
According to Harian Metro, the suspect surrendered himself to the Gombak district police headquarters yesterday, 22 May.

The incident reportedly came to light after the teenager's mother reached out to Malaysian rapper Ariz Ramli, popularly known as Caprice, for help
In one of the screenshots shared by Caprice in his Instagram Reel yesterday, the influencer allegedly sent the girl an inappropriate photo, claiming it was to show her a surgical scar.
After he was found out, the man allegedly pleaded with the girl's mother for forgiveness and asked her not to report the matter to the authorities, claiming he had meant to crop the photo and send it to his girlfriend.

In an Instagram Reel today, 23 May, Caprice shared that another girl has come forward to claim that she also received a similar photo from the same influencer.
The suspect has been remanded as of today to assist with ongoing investigations.
