Here's How Najib's Supporters Reacted After His Guilty Verdict Was Upheld

The former prime minister's supporters were seen shedding tears as soon as they saw a glimpse of him waving his hands with a sad expression on his face.

The Federal Court's much awaited ruling on the SRC International case today, 23 August, has sent former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak straight to jail to begin his 12-year sentence and his supporters to tears

Outside the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya, dozens of Najib's supporters were seen waiting for the 69-year-old politician.

Some even arrived as early as 6am and stood in the rain as the proceeding involving a five-member panel, led by Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat, went underway.

It was reported by The Malaysian Reserve that some of the supporters came from all across the country including Pekan, Pahang, where Najib is serving as the member of parliament (MP).
