A video of a Malaysian grandmother dancing for free drinks recently went viral on Twitter

In the seven-second clip shared by user @AsyrafRosli_, the grandmother can be seen dancing wildly and enjoying the music in front of a food truck, believed to be in Penang.

Meanwhile, her granddaughter struggles to stand next to her while she is busy performing her best dance moves and pushing the child.

The woman continues to shove the child aggressively, indicating that she does not want to be disturbed while she is feeling her oats

The granddaughter then covers her face and looks down, appearing hurt by her grandmother's actions.

"Oh God, grandma, for the sake of free drinks, you're willing to push your own granddaughter like that. It's sad to see," said the tweet.

Malaysians were outraged by the woman's actions and expressed their frustrations in the comments section

One user commented that the granddaughter seems to be covering her face because she was embarrassed by her grandmother's behaviour.

"But to the grandma, she doesn't care as long as she sells herself and gets those free drinks," said the user.

Another person speculated that the grandmother probably wanted to be an idol growing up, but ended up being a tolol (an idiot) instead.

"The grave said mari (come) grandma, not menari (dance)," commented another.

One user joked that the grandmother would regret what she did once they are home, and she will suddenly complain about back pain to her granddaughter for sympathy points.
