A 43-year-old woman sustained head injuries after being struck by a bicycle allegedly thrown from the 12th floor of People's Housing Project (PPR) flat in Terengganu, yesterday, 25 March

According to the New Straits Times, the bicycle was allegedly thrown from the Padang Hiliran PPR building at around 4pm just as Azuraini Yazid, a preschool assistant, was on her way to dispose of garbage.

The victim's husband, Jusri, said his wife lost consciousness upon impact.

"[She] was rushed to the emergency unit at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ), where she received five stitches to her head. Her condition is stable," he said.

Jusri added that he had spoken to the bicycle's owner and learned that another individual had thrown it from the building

Kuala Terengganu police chief ACP Azli Mohd Noor confirmed that the bicycle's owner had given his statement, denying any involvement in the incident.

"So far, the investigation is ongoing. The victim's condition is stable, and she was allowed to return home early this morning," Buletin TV3 quoted Azli as saying.
