Another Video Surfaces Showing MBPJ Officers Taunting The Public While Rounding Up Dogs
One of the officers is believed to have shoved his face at the member of the public who was filming the incident.
A new video has surfaced showing Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) enforcement officers taunting a member of the public during a stray dogs roundup
The video published last month is 54 seconds long and titled 'Same MBPJ guy — this was 10 February'.
In the video, two MBPJ officers can be seen deriding a person filming them, with one officer saying, "Ini siapa in? Ini siapa ni? Dia bayar anjing punya vaksin la (Who is this? Who is this? He paid for the dogs' vaccine)."
His colleague suggests others take photos of the man filming them, to which the latter welcomes them to do so.
"It is the MBPJ's job to catch all these dogs. It's none of your business," says the same officer in a demeaning tone.
"Are those your dogs? If it is yours, you tell us so," he continues while he climbs over a railing to get closer to the man.
The video then shows the officer's face taking up the whole frame, suggesting that he has invaded the man's personal space.

At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 80,000 views with 1,000 shares on Facebook
Speaking to New Straits Times, Petaling Jaya member of parliament (MP) Lee Chean Chung said an investigation into the video must be made.
Lee said the probe should be done in a transparent manner with impartiality and professionalism.
The video comes after an earlier video published on 23 March showed an MBPJ officer shoving a catch pole at Patrick Khoo Kian Wui, causing him to suffer injuries to his neck and wrist.
The issue caught national attention, with many different parties questioning MBPJ's standard operating procedures (SOPs) when it comes to rounding up stray dogs.
Khoo was charged in court for obstructing a public servant from carrying out his duty, while the officer was not charged with any offences.
