Report: Annuar Musa Has Been Sacked As BN's Secretary-General
He previously challenged his coalition to fire him.
Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa has reportedly been sacked as Barisan Nasional (BN) secretary-general
His dismissal has been confirmed by the Ketereh Member of Parliament (MP) himself when Malay Mail contacted him today, 5 January.
In a tweet posted around 2pm, he said that he has no comment over his removal.
Meanwhile, multiple media portals report that Pontian MP Ahmad Maslan will succeed Annuar as BN secretary-general.

He even challenged his coalition to fire him over the difference of opinion, reported Free Malaysia Today.
Annuar said he will continue defending the UMNO Supreme Council's decision to reject any form of political cooperation with DAP and PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
"I want UMNO to lead the cooperation among Malay and Islamist parties, while rejecting any division among the ummah. If you want to fire me because of that, please go ahead," he said in a Facebook post on Monday.

Prior to this, UMNO Pasir Puteh youth chief Muhammad Saifullah proposed to have Annuar sacked because the latter was not respecting the party president
According to Saifullah, Annuar pre-empted party decisions and can be seen as a spokesman for Bersatu.
In response, Annuar said he is seeing changes in UMNO, whereby Malay matters, as well as the people's concerns, are no longer discussed in party meetings this year.
"What we hear are calls to reject Malay solidarity and verbal attacks among one another. DAP can afford to smile now," Bernama quoted him as saying.
