Meanwhile, voters in Perak are determined not to let floods in several parts of the state deter them from going out to vote

According to a report in Utusan Malaysia this morning, 19 November, those affected by the floods said they are determined to come out and vote despite having to wade through flood waters.

A 40-year-old voter, Zulkifli Bakar, in the flooded area at Batu 7, Jalan Changkat Jong, Taluk Intan, said he is so eager to vote this time that he returned to his hometown last week.

"Whatever the case is with the floods, I will still come out and vote. I'm excited," he said.
