This Stall With Serene Views Of A Paddy Field In Perlis Sells RM1 Meals & We Are Drooling!

From nasi lemak, to kuey teow soup and laksa utara; all for the price of RM1.

There is a remarkable restaurant in Perlis.

Not only does it serve lip-smacking local food and is situated next to a paddy field so you can rest your eyes on the greens, each meal here costs only RM1!

You heard it right.

In this economically trying time, where RM1 can barely buy you a packet of biscuits, budget restaurant Selera D' Bendang Senja sells hot-served nasi lemak, mee hoon soup, yellow noodle soup, kuey teow soup, Maggi soup, and fried rice at an impossible price of RM1.

39-year-old Zulkifli Ismail opened the restaurant last month with the intention of aiding poor families who live around Kampung Sungai Padang in mind

Bernama reported that the food is very well-received by the locals, especially his laksa utara.

Ever since the restaurant went viral on social media, Zulkifli has little time to rest as there is no end to customers frequenting his eatery.

Malaysians being Malaysians, it is reported that people are willing to travel all the way from Perak to Perlis just to get a taste of Zulkifli's laksa utara

Zulkifli said that his restaurant is not making losses as his customers often order more than one meal.

And he's even able to make a profit because he cooks the food himself.

Zulkifli prepares 8kg of pulut (glutinous rice), 20kg of rice, 20 packets of laksa, and 20 chickens every day, assisted by three workers, Sinar Harian reported via Bernama.

"Praise Allah, the response is incredible. In less than three hours, all the food is sold out. I start at 11am and close by about 1.30pm," Zulkifli said.

Thank you for the good food at cheap prices, Zulkifli!
